The Dhammapada is the second script of Khuddaka Nikaya which is one third of the Tripitaka. It is the most popular and the most prevailing book of the Buddhist literature. This script consists of all the basic teachings of Buddhist Studies. This application was developed with the hope that the practical and basic teaching of Lord Buddha on the Dhammapada may have positive effect on the society.
This version of the Dhammapada can be browsed in two different language category: English (default) and Nepali. The Nepali version of the script was translated by Most Venerable Dr. Amritananda Mahathero. The app also comprises of the audio files for all the verses (pali gatha). The audio file was recorded by Sukhi Hotu Nepal.
